Thank you for visiting From the Pit to His Purpose. I have created this space to share what God has done in my life and the hope I've found in Jesus. There was a time when I couldn't imagine my story becoming something God could use to help someone else.

I've been there, and I know how hard it can be to start counting days again. But relapse doesn't erase how far you've come, and it doesn't mean Jesus has given up on you. There's still hope and today can be the beginning of a new chapter.

This is where I share my thoughts on faith, recovery, and everyday life. Some posts come from personal experiences, while others are inspired by Scripture and the lessons God continues to teach me. My hope is that you'll find something here that speaks to your heart.

I've learned that being thankful doesn't mean pretending everything in life is wonderful. There are things I've been through that I would never want to experience again. But when I look back, I can also see how God was working in my life, even when I didn't recognize it. I'm thankful for where He has brought me, for the people He's placed in my life, and for the opportunity to use my story to encourage others. Sometimes gratitude begins simply by recognizing how far God has brought us.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and for never giving up on me. Help me recognize Your blessings, even on the difficult days. Remind me to be thankful for what I have today instead of worrying about tomorrow. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
A Letter to the Girl I Used to Be
If I could sit down with the little girl I once was, there are so many things I would tell her. This is a letter about forgiveness, healing, and discovering that my past doesn't define who I am in Christ.

Some letters are written from lessons I've learned, and others are for someone who may be walking through something I've already faced. Each one comes from my heart, with the hope that God will use these words to encourage someone who needs them.
The Armor of God
The Armor of God holds a special place in my heart. It reminds me of the people God has placed in my life, the lessons I've learned, and the importance of standing firm in my faith.
I want to share why this means so much to me and how Ephesians 6 reminds me that I don't have to face life's battles on my own.
